Right in the middle of Sarasota's biggest shopping destination, The Mall at University Town Center hosts the Lakewood Ranch Art Festival at UTC with Craft Marketplace on October 24–25, 2026, from 10am to 5pm both days at 140 University Town Center Dr. The award-winning Lakewood Ranch community surrounds the mall with dining, retail, and entertainment, giving visitors plenty of reasons to make a full day of it. Inside the festival, more than 100 juried artists display original paintings, pottery, jewelry, and photography, while a dedicated Craft Marketplace adds handmade soaps, clothing, and home decor to the mix. Patti Ballard will be exhibiting her original acrylic paintings and art prints — coastal scenes, florals, and whimsical figures — and welcomes visitors to stop by her booth to see the collection in person or ask about custom work. Admission is free.
