Downtown Venice trades its usual quiet charm for a weekend full of color when the 38th Annual Downtown Venice Art Festival takes over 200-300 West Venice Ave on October 31–November 1, 2026, from 10am to 5pm both days. Tucked along Florida's Gulf coast, Venice is often called one of the state's best-kept secrets — a walkable downtown of independent boutiques, restaurants, and Main Street charm that rewards a slow afternoon of browsing. More than 100 juried artists from across the country line West Venice Avenue for the festival, showing paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, and jewelry side by side. Patti Ballard will be among them, exhibiting her original acrylic paintings and art prints — coastal scenes, florals, and whimsical figures inspired by Florida life.
